This opinion letter was written to the Greenville News, urging local officials to challenge changes to federal legislation that would undermine progress made in affordable housing development over the past forty years. Specifically, Greenville Housing Fund’s Bryan Brown, alongside Monroe Free of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County and Kate Pratt of SCACED, wrote to encourage local leaders to push back against changes to the Community Reinvestment Act that would be detrimental to advancements made against redlining and housing discrimination.
