In In the News

We had an engaging and lively community information session Thursday night at the Sterling Hope Center to provide information on The Huddle at Sterling, the 10-unit affordable housing development we are building with our non-profit partner, The Sterling Land Trust, along Jenkins and S Calhoun Street. Most of the conversation focused on sharing the latest project updates and the project team spent time answering the Sterling community’s questions about the development.

GHF and The Sterling Land Trust expect to close on the construction loan for The Huddle at Sterling later this spring. The Sterling Land Trust will remain the land owner, which will continue to strengthen the Sterling community as this land remains in the Land Trust’s stewardship into perpetuity. Importantly, 50% of net cash flow from The Huddle at Sterling will be shared with The Sterling Land Trust to bolster their financial capacity and create another avenue of financial opportunity for the organization as they continue neighborhood programming, like summer gardening and outdoor programs for neighborhood children.
